Air Fryer Tuna Fish Cakes


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of Princes Tuna in Spring Water
  • 1 egg
  • 750g mini potatoes
  • 60g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • Cranberry sauce for dipping

Method

  1. First step, take your mini potatoes and boil in a pan of water for 20 minutes or until they are soft to pierce with a knife. Then remove the potatoes from the heat and drain the water.
  2. Mash the potatoes until they are all broken down and mix with flour, parsley, and seasonings.
  3. Then add tuna into the mix and combine until evenly distributed.
  4. Next, take the mixture and shape into patties. Place them into the air fryer and cook at 200°C for 16 minutes.
  5. To finish, serve with cranberry sauce and enjoy!

The majority of things you would traditionally cook or heat up in the oven will fare just fine in an airfryer – and will be ready in much less time, saving time and money. Roast veg will be ready after about 20 minutes, and you can usually take around 10 minutes off any cooking instructions on prepared food.

Air Fryer Tuna and Cheese Bagel

Ingredients

  • 1 can Princes tuna chunks in spring water
  • 2 bagels
  • 150g sweetcorn
  • 1/2 red onion - diced
  • 35g mayonnaise
  • 60g cheese - shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. In a bowl combine tuna chunks with sweetcorn, red onion, and mayonnaise, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. Load up your bagel with your desired amount of this tasty mix, and sprinkle on some shredded cheese and parsley.
  3. To cook, simply pop it in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes or until it’s beautifully golden and the cheese turns into gooey perfection.
  4. The final step…. plate it up and enjoy!

Air Fryer Frittata

Ingredients

  • Canned potatoes (250g)
  • Canned sweetcorn (50g)
  • Canned salmon (170g, drained)
  • Canned peas (50g)
  • Four eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper (a generous twist)
  • Semi-skimmed milk (50ml)

Method

  1. To start, beat the eggs with the milk and season well with salt and pepper. Slice canned potatoes.
  2. Line the air fryer basket with greaseproof paper then pour the egg mix into the fryer basket.
  3. Next, scatter the potatoes, peas and sweetcorn over the egg mix.
  4. Sprinkle on the salmon and lightly push down into the egg mix.
  5. Cook in the air fryer @ 180c for 30-35 minutes (this will vary per appliance).
  6. Finally, remove from the basket, cool and slice.
