Kaleb R Love this movie!!! It is so slay Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/24 Full Review Liz S I am personally a big fan of Hamilton. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea, but I think this is truly one of the best musicals ever written. Not only is it entertaining and impressive with all of the rapping, dancing, acting, set design, music, etc., but it is also educational. It gives different sides and details to a story that many people know about: the Revolutionary War. Most people do not really know about Alexander Hamilton, Eliza Hamilton, Aaron Burr, and the other main characters of the musical, even though they played a big part in the events occurring at that time. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Blob 9 For those not familiar with American history, this lively musical will no longer make you a novice. The music and the pacing is so immersive, that even a musical hater can't deny the talent on stage. The actress playing Eliza breaks the fourth wall, and the gasp is from her realizing that this whole time there has been audience witnessing the story, but not just any story, her story. Some detractors point to the fact that Hamilton glorifies George Washington, who owned 123 of the 317 slaves at Mount Vernon during the time when the show is set.
